A quick note to say a BIG THANK YOU to the overwhelming response to the request I made in the Bridge for interest free loan capital to help the Findhorn Hinterland Group manage their grant from the Forestry Commission. £13,500 has been raised which will allow the community group to purchase items sooner rather than later, help us with our cash flow and ultimately our positive work on the land. Our thanks especially goes out to Cornelia Featherstone, John Willoner, Ian Rippon, Peter Mckay, the Alanna Group and Alison Hunter.
Now do come and join us on our workparties too as these are what make the real difference over time in caring for and transforming our local environment as well as building a sense of community and community ownership. The next one is on the 27th March between 10am and 12 noon and will involve tree planting and preparation for grass sowing. We meet outside the tractor shed in the woods on the eastern boundary of Pineridge. We hope to see you there for this event to celebrate the coming of spring.
